The ESD (electrostatic discharge) product series from KIPP offers special solutions for electrostatically sensitive environments. These products are designed to minimise electrostatic discharges and thus protect sensitive electronic parts, components and devices from damage caused by electrostatic discharges.
Operating principle
Sensitive electronic parts, components and devices can be damaged or destroyed through electrostatic discharges in their vicinity. ESD operating parts from KIPP are made from special electrically conductive plastics that comply with DIN EN 61340-5-1, which enables the effective dissipation of electrostatic charges. This minimises the risk of damage from electrostatic discharge, both from human contact and from the handling of ESD-sensitive components during production, assembly or transport.
